Egyptian Goose (Alopochen aegyptiaca) Ganso de egipto

Egyptian Geese are slowly becoming more common in the southern half of the country. Although still sparse they can be found on  inland lakes and are found in small family groups.

With an orange eye surrounded by a brown eye-patch, a white head, upper neck and wing panel, bright pink legs and feet and unmistakeably a goose, this is a hard bird to confuse with anything else ...
