Egyptian Vulture (Neophron percnopterus) Abutre do Egipto

A migratory Vulture that one is only likely to see during the summer months, Egyptian Vultures are declining. It is smaller than other Vultures of the area, roughly the size of a Red Kite, and its distinctive plumage sets it apart from any other species but a White Stork. Most likely to be seen either on migration near Sagres or in the eastern half of the country.
